Currently, Research in Motion is holding various consumer forums around the world. During one of these forums RIM was nice enough to show us a slide that provided us with a better understanding of the type of app support they have garnered for Blackberry 10. This slide shows some of the big boys that will be coming out with awesome Blackberry 10 apps.
At a glance we can see that all of our social networking habits will be covered. From the likes of Facebook, Twitter & Foursquare. One of the Blackberry 10 apps that I will definitely be picking up is a music recognition application and from the looks if it we will be graced with 2 choices, Shazam and Hound Sound. For the book worms (like me) it’s great to see the support of Amazon with the Kindle application.
While it’s not yet clear if these applications will be android ports or native Blackberry 10 apps, it’s still great to see this amount of support for BlackBerry 10. I have had witnessed both poorly ported android apps as well as Android apps that run just as good or even better than some native ones. Either way, with the release of 2.1 for the Playbook you won’t even know which app is an Android port or not. As the time to the launch gets closer and closer, the more excited I’m getting thinking about all those awesome and necessary Blackberry 10 apps that will be available.
